About the Blog

It all started with a boy, a handsome Catholic boy, and this boy took me to mass.

In a million years, I never thought I would be so inspired by the Catholic Church. It’s ancient, foreign, and strict, definitely not what a 20 year old Southern Protestant would be interested in…yet here I am.

Before mass and eventually EWTN, contraception, natural family planning, and abortion was farthest from my mind. Jared, the Catholic boy, introduced me to Kimberly Hahn’s story. While in school, she gave a debate over the reasons behind Catholic contraception. Her worldview changed.

After listening to her story, I turned to Jared and cried, “But I don’t want to have 20 children!”

As a biology lover, I grasped the new information with caution and zeal. I read, Toni Weschler’s book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility. The book teaches a natural form of birth control. After that a woman’s health, life, and biology became the most fascinating aspect of my 19 year old existence.

This blog contains my ever growing findings and research. My topics will include abortion, contraception, women’s health, fertility, natural family planning, and pregnancy. I will address research from science, politics, religion, media, and books. Fair warning, this is my Christian opinion. I am here to follow God’s Word. I can’t help but write the biblical truth.
